Binita Tailor, O.D. is a board-certified, comprehensive optometrist. She earned her baccalaureate degree in biological sciences from North Carolina State University. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in visual sciences and a Doctor of Optometry degree with clinical honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Tailor has extensive experience in routine and medical examinations. She specializes in providing quality eye care and fitting a wide range of contact lenses for all ages.
Her clinical training has included ocular disease and management in rural North Carolina, pediatrics at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, hospital-based optometry at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, and specialty contact lenses at Eye Doctors of Washington.
Prior to joining the Eye Institute of NC PC, Dr. Tailor practiced for several years in the D.C. area alongside the region’s top ophthalmologists, where she gained further exposure to medical care and pre- and post-operative surgical care for all types of procedures including LASIK, cataracts, and lens implants.
Dr. Tailor is board-certified in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and North Carolina. Her hobbies and interests include traveling, cooking, wellness/fitness, and fashion.
